Your orders must be made via Kevin Furber on 07850 732867 or via the website shop on www.205challenge.com or email Kevin@205challenge.com

All the above parts must be fitted without modification from the manufacturers or named suppliers original specification. However, it is possible to rebuild/replace consumable manufacturer’s components provided the replacement components are as supplied by the originally manufacturer and are proven to be identical to the originals.

The cylinder head must not be machined or have additional material taken away from the unit as supplied by the championship organisers. If the unit suffers a mechanical problem it must be returned to the championship organisers who will offer a quotation for the repair work or the opportunity to buy a replacement.

Page 4

The LSD must remain as manufactured in every way. However, it is possible to replace and change the set-up of the unit by replacing worn components or re-placing the pressure plates in various orders. It is recommended that you do not set your LSD to have more than 65 lbd Torque (measured via the drive shaft nut on a cold unit) because a higher setting will cause drive shaft reliability issues. Also teams should note that a setting less then 50lbd will not allow the car to drive on a single shaft.

Please note;
The championship organisers do not control the fitment of the championship’s compulsory purchase parts. However, we do recommend the following professionals who offer preferential rates to registered competitors.

Driver and CO-Driver Eligibility:
Within the Driver and Co-driver Eligibility section we have listed that each competitor must have "A fair and fun-minded approach to Motor Sport" this rule has been written by the organisers and it’s interpretation is at the discretion of the organisers.

Registered competitors should note that the information they supply is held in a computerised database for the purpose of producing mailing lists and recording results. The information supplied may also be used for other purposes to do with the challenge.

205 Scholarship Class Rules And Regulations.
Within these regulations we have used the words “Challenge Controlled Parts”. This description is used to specify a part that must be purchased direct from the championship organisers. These controlled parts will be given part numbers and documented in order to verify the legality of each component. If competitors use a part that is identical to a “Challenge Controlled Part” but did not originate via a direct purchase from the championship organisers provable with a part number, such uninitiated parts will be deemed illegal and will contravene these regulations.

Peugeot 205 Modifications and Standard Parts.
All permitted modifications are specified within these regulations. All other parts must remain unmodified and identical to the parts fitted by Peugeot when the 1.9 205 GTI was manufactured for the UK car market and sold via UK car dealers.

The organisers will use the 1992 MSA international GPN Homologation papers to authenticate the technical specification of all standard parts. Any parts that are not listed within the 1992 Homologation papers must be proven (by the competitor) to be fitted as standard to a production UK spec GTI and not modified from original specification in anyway.

Page 5

For non-performance related parts such as window wipers and pipe work, competitors may use motor factored replacement alternatives but such parts must comply with the following description.

Please Note.
For safety sake we are willing to allow changing of material, design and positioning of all non-performance related components. Performance related items would include any item that increases engine BHP, reduces weight or improves handling and grip without offering a significant safety advantage. Examples of parts we include with this exception are. 1 - oil catch tank. 2 - Gear Box Oil Breather. 3. Battery location of securing point. Ext.

Pre Season Scrutineering.
We may require all cars to attend a rolling road engine, gearbox and ECU sealing session. Our aim is to use a specified pre-arranged rolling road where the cars will undergo a power run, gear ratio test and sealing of the cars engine, gearbox and ECU will take place.

This session is compulsory before competitors can score points. However, at the approval of the championship organisers it is possible to have engines, gearboxes and ECUs sealed at or before the start of each event, but without a power run it will be necessary for these cars to undertake stripping of these components to verify their legality.

However, the championship organisers and stewards reserve the right to implement a discretionary points deduction and or implement a financial penalty should they believe that total exclusion is inappropriate to the level of infringement.

Page 7

5.b… The appointed championship scrutineer is a judge of fact. Therefore that person’s opinion with reference to the compliance of the technical regulations is final.

5.c… Should the championship scrutineer find an infringement of the championship's regulations then they will in the first instance report all issues to the championship organiser Kevin Furber and in turn, and working with the scrutineer, they will prepare a case to be presented to the Championship's own Stewards. At that point, the competitors who may be affected by any potential penalty will be informed of the infringement and will be given an opportunity to prepare a document of mitigation. That document will be offered for viewing to the championship stewards before the Stewards are asked to make any decision regarding a suitable penalty.

5.c.a… The Championship's Stewards namely, Chris Wood, Dominic Hodge and Keith Baud will adjudicate and issue penalties, as they feel appropriate in keeping with MSA guidelines. After the penalty has been given out to a competitor, that competitor has the right to appeal under normal MSA regulation. When the stewards have made a decision regarding penalties the competitor will be notified and will have the right to appeal under MSA regulations.

5.d… The championship organisers will respect and adhere to the findings of any Motor Sports Appeal decision.

5.e… The organisers have the right to refund any entrants fee at any point, thus excluding
that entrant from the championship.

5.f… The giving of any additional prizes, of any type is at the discretion of the organisers.

5.h… Refunds of any type are at the discretion of the organisers.

5.i… In the event of any unforeseen circumstance that may cause the championship to be shortened by the number of it's events or the cancellation of the championship in it's entirety, the organisers reserve the right to implement an alternative events calendar and points scoring system as they feel appropriate.

Points Scoring System.

6.a... The winners of the championship, it's categories and classes (other than the fastest stage times table) will be decided by adding together 5 of each competitors best results (that being 5 of the highest number of points awarded from the championships 7 qualifying rounds). If any qualifying events are cancelled, the number of scores to count for championship positions will be reduced by the same number.

6.b… The winner of the championship's fastest Driver will be decided by allocating 1 point per fastest stage time allocated to each competitor who records a time faster than all other registers scholarship competitors on any stage of any of the qualifying championship rallies. The individual rally organisers own final results will be used to allocate points

6.c…Any end of championship ties will be decided in favour of the competitor who scored the first fastest stage time of the championship. If the tie is still not decided, then the second stage of the first event will be used to decide the winner, and so on until a winner is found.

6.d… Should a competitor lose their points through an exclusion or punishment they will also lose the points from the fastest stage times table.

Page 8

The roll cage fitment is free from control of the championship but must always comply with MSA regulations for stage rallying. Triangulation through to bulkhead is allowed.

7.b… Reasonable amounts of gusseting will be allowable to add strength and protection to the cars shell. However, no suspension pick-up point is allowed to be moved from the standard position and in no way can any material be cut away from the shell to be replaced with alternative fabrication. (Except to convert a sunroof into a steel based permanent fixture as per MSA regulations).

205 Scholarship Chassis/panels and Interior Trim.

Page 9

10.e… The rear Torsion bars must remain standard type but diameter is free..

10.f… The front anti-roll bar may be fitted or disconnected by taking it off.

205 Wheels and Tyres.
Ether standard Peugeot wheels or wheels sold by the organisers of the championship are allowed in 14” or 15'' utilising the championships controlled tyre. The number and type of tyre to be used on each championship round will be specified by the championship organisers 7 days before each round of the championship. This will normally be a maximum of 6 new tyres per event.

205 Engine.
Every engine used in the championship must utilise all the components supplied within the compulsory control kit. This includes a “Challenge” modified cylinder head, controlled camshaft and adjustable cam pulley. These parts must remain in the same state as supplied, and all further modification is strictly forbidden. It is possible to utilize 1.6 GTI pistons and engine parts within a 1.9 block but no machining of any parts is allowed and any use of non- Peugeot 205 GTI part would be illegal.
